Crocheted with a 0.5 mm hook and thread, the tiny bird sticks magnetically to her enclosure and can be taken out to admire the microscopic details!

The miniature metal tin is filled with unbelievably small details including hand-stitched carnations, violets, and roses, along with crystal chips, mini grass tufts, and moss to create a natural and realistic effect.Β

The bird plushie is surrounded by flowers that hold symbolic meaning in the queer community, and her removable mallard duck mask is meant as a reminder that everyone is worthy, regardless of how others perceive them. She is named in honor of Christine Jorgensen, a pioneering trans right activist whose life and achievements prove that we can choose to live freely and radically transform our futures, even if we've had to wear a "mask" in the past.
